MR. CONSISTENTS EIAN AND MARTIN LEAD THE WAY! Its early doors, but congratulations to Eian S and Martin T for being incredibly consistent right from the start of the season! Eian is currently not only the early Super League leader, with Martin a close second, but is also the current Specimen Cup leader- this year the chosen species in Common Bream. Eian currently leads the Specimen Cup with a 3lb 2oz fish from Locklands Lake at Torksey. Some excellent performances too from Paul J, Keith B and Mick B, with a special mention to Dave G who pick up his first match fishing winnings ever at the recent match at Torksey. Well done mate! But its very early on in the season and there's plenty of matches left to climb up the ladder!! So far, its been a good season for me as I haven't fallen in yet, but did somehow manage to pour some hot coffee down one of wellies at Portland Waters last week. Now all dried out, it's onwards and upwards!!
NEW LEADER; PAUL J. NARROWLY LEADS THE PACK!! Well here we are at the end of May, beginning of June!! Mr Consistent Eian S. sits in second, having had a good month, closely followed by Keith W. rising up the table to third. Top spot currently occupied by Paul J, with the man himself Jarv Jnr showing the way with some decent results, especially at Fox Covert, picking up valuable bonus points. Well done to all though on the leader board, as fishing has not been that easy in Lincs and North Notts this last month- Maybe something to do with the strange and unseasonably warm weather and lack of rain? Still plenty of time to go; last few matches has seen Paul S. climb up the pack to 8th. A few more decent results, and he could be the one to watch. But really....with only two months gone, it could be anyone's for the taking.
